3. How would you describe the writing craft? Is the book well-written or not? Is the writing florid or sparse?
4. What narrative techniques did the author use effectively? For example, did you notice foreshadowing, irony, flashbacks, time jumps, or lots of figurative language? 

Setting: Where the Action Happens

1. Why do you think the author chose this particular setting for the book? How does the setting influence the characters and plot?
2. Are there any specific places that seem to hold special or even symbolic significance?

4. Could the story have taken place in a different setting and still worked?
